Last week I traveled to Freycinet, Tasmania with Tricia to attend the Institute of Public Accountants Congress.

For the past few years the conference convenor, Jon Burns has employed my services to photograph the presenters etc. Event photography is far distant to my usual work as a sports/action photographer but I do enjoy bring challenged from time to time.

The congress was opened by Jason Parker, Deputy President of the IPA who is himself a public accountant in Tasmania.

The highlight was to hear from one of the country's most inspirational speakers, Petris Lapis who is normally voted the top presenter of the conference.

I am always pleased to be associated with such a professional association. It is just a shame that not all professional bodies are so open & transparent in their dealing with members.
