TOWNSVILLE

The Townsville 400 (formally known as the Watpac Townsville 400) is an annual motor racing event for Supercars, held on the Townsville Street Circuit in Townsville, Queensland. The event has been held since 2009.
The event was announced in late 2007, following the allocation of funding from both the federal and the Queensland state government. The event became the third Queensland event on the calendar, joining Queensland Raceway in Ipswich and the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit on the Gold Coast. However, Townsville did become the first major motor racing event to be held in the North Queensland region. The event is held in early July each year.
In 2021 because of cancellation of rounds due to he COVID pandemic there were two round back-to-back held in Townsville. Races 17 and 19 were won by Cam Waters and Race 18 by Shane van Gisbergen.
In 2025, the format changed to three races including one on Friday. The Friday race was won by Brodie Kostecki & both Saturday & Sunday races were won by Broc Feeney.
